Two of most famous British horror stories are Dracula and Frankinstein. Mary Shelly wrote Frankenstein in 1818. Bram Sroker, the Irish write, created Dracula in 1897. There are many films which feature these two horror characters. Stoker thought of his story when he was walking in Highgate cemetery. He wondered what would happen if sulight could wake up a dead body in a tomb. Now visitors to London can go on special guided Dracula tours. British people love to be scared!

The Eastenders is in the Manchester. The Coronation Street is in the London and the Emmerdale is in the Yorkshire. East Enders is the year 1985, the Coronation Street is the year 1960 and the Emmerdale is the year 1972.

Scotland has got a lot of wild, mountainous countryside and it is famous for its many lakes. The majority of the population live in the two main city of Edinburg and Glasgow.
There are blth modern and historic buildings here. Scotland has got some very special traditions.

There is a special sports event called the Highland Games. You can see some familiar and som unusual sports there. Charles Rennie Mackintosh is a famous Scottish person. He was an architect and a designer. His designs are still popular today.
